The New Blogger on the Block

Hello! I’m known as Crazdwriter because of my love of writing and I decided that it is time to begin blogging once again. I had a lot fun blogging before when I had done it years ago but circumstances had changed and I stopped sadly, even though like I said it is a lot of fun. So here is my first blog after years of putting it on hold and I wish to tell you a bit more about myself, about what I will blog about, about what I write story-wise, and hopefully where this blog writing as well as my story writing will take me in the future.

I am a woman in my thirties who has been writing since I was in High School, loving the way how words form on a piece of paper in a book that will transport you to another world and take you miles away from your own reality. My parents saw this side of me, the crazy daydreaming side, back in HS and it was actually my mom who gave me the nickname. I originally just wanted something unique for my emails and then it just stuck so I am Crazdwriter now and forever. And yes my friends call me this from time to time and whenever I sign up for anything it is always the nickname that I choose. It’s as unique as I am and it’s as fun as I hope my writing will be here in my blogs as well as I hope in my books that I wish to get published. Of course once I become a published Author, I may have to take into consideration of changing my nickname from Writer to Author but I will get to that much later. Hopefully not too much later, but still later. As for now, I will stick with Crazdwriter.
But enough about my name! As I have said, I am a woman in my thirties but that isn’t all. My real name is Lacey Gordon. I am a writer, I am a stay-at-home mom and teacher to a smart beautiful girl who will be turning 4 at the end of December, I am a mother to four sweet angel babies, I am a proud Navy wife to an amazing husband who is my rock and continues to push me so that I will stay on the path for writing and becoming published, I am a daughter to two amazing people who I have the honor to call mom and dad who have helped me grow into the woman I am now and who continues to help me in life, I am a sister to an awesome older brother whom I love dearly and am so proud of as he takes on his job as an emergency nurse every day, I am a friend to so many that I feel like the luckiest girl, whether they are online or in person, because they have shown me so many times that they are there for me in this crazy thing we call life and I am always there for them when life gets them down or for anything, I am a Preschool Teacher of 14 years until I had our daughter but will be returning to teaching the young ones as soon as we move back to California and get our daughter into preschool,  and I am a human being, one who struggles with things in life just like others do and who pushes forward even though stress and other complications in life likes to try to push me down. This is just me in a nutshell. Simple to the point nutshell in order to just introduce you to me, the new blogger on the block.
Will I write blogs that will inspire, educate, are complicated, and full of flowery words? Maybe. I hope to inspire and teach my readers but hope to not be too complicated and may put in flowery words depending on my mood and what topic I will be writing. My blogs will be about all sorts of topics from the hard ones to talk about like miscarriages or learning disabilities to easier topics like life in the military or raising a daughter to be smart and strong. I will also entice you with quite a few fictional pieces because that is my passion; to write fiction stories in the genres of general Fiction, Young Adult, Mystery, Fantasy, Paranormal, Horror (my favorite), Steampunk (though I am very new to this genre and taking my time in understanding it), Children (my nemesis at the moment because I can’t seem to keep stories simple enough just yet so this genre I need a lot of practice in and I’m not afraid to say that), and mixing the genres above Children. There are bits of romance in my stories as well but not full on romance where my books would be put in the Romance section of the bookstore or library. I also will write fiction snips here and there that is fiction but is spun from nonfiction whether from my life or everyone’s life.
I hope that this blog as well as my other blogs will gather readers but if not then I am actually okay with that. Of course I will do what I can to get readers but this blogging is for fun, to get me and my writing out there, and to maybe help that one soul who feels down about life and needs a quick pick me up or someone who is at a coffee shop and is just cruising the internet, possibly stumbling on my blogs. I do wish to become a published Author, and that may become a blog series of mine as I walk the rocky trails towards becoming published as I try to get published first the traditional way with agents and publishers and then if I must through self-publishing. But these blogs are for me to venture out of my safety bubble and allow others to see what I write in both fiction and nonfiction.
