Even though you say you are done streaming and wish to only stream once in a while, you are still considered a streamer. And your followers will still be there. Life may show you another route, but that streamer/gamer side of you will always be there waiting patiently for you as well as your followers.
- What is your Twitch name? TripleG_tv
- Is there a special reason you chose that name? I chose the name “TripleG_tv” because I use to go under several different names like DarknLightBro, CompetitiveGG, and GoodGameGaming. I started off my twitch career with DarknLightBro at the age of 18 in 2014. After a year under that name, I decided that the name didn’t have spunk or wasn’t memorable enough for people viewing me. I then decided I needed a new name and pondered a different name for months, changing it several times, starting new twitch accounts every time I changed it. It wasn’t until November of 2015 that I changed my name to GoodGameGaming after deciding that is what I was representing on twitch. A good game. I’m very big into PvP so it felt right. A hard-fought, good game with other players. After several months under this name, I realized it was too long and I had no name to call my community. The in February of 2016, I changed my name to TripleG after watching my favorite streamer “TripleWreck”. I was watching him and realized he called his community the “WreakNation”. After fumbling around with different names with nation in them, I settled on the “4G Network”. It’s supposed to be modeled after a phone network and how it connects people together. I then settled on an acronym of my GoodGameGaming name of “GGG”, or “TripleG”, then added the “tv” in it to sound like a tv show.
- Why did you become a Twitch Streamer? I wanted to become a streamer after watching KingGothailion on twitch in November of 2014. I at the time just got denied for military service due to some medical complications. At the time, I was lost on what to do with my life so I turned to video games. In doing so, I bought a new PS4 and Destiny. Getting into the twitch scene, due to a friend at the time, I was astounded that people could make money off of playing video games and I personally really enjoyed playing and interacting with people thru video games. So for Christmas of that year, I asked for a simple laptop to start my streaming career in December or 2014.
- Why did you choose to stream for Twitch? Twitch was the first streaming site I was introduced into. Hitbox I tried but it wasn’t like twitch…twitch was home.
- How long have you been a streamer? Since December of 2014……so about 3-4 years.
- Do you only stream or do you have another job? If you are comfortable in telling my readers, what is your other job? I no longer stream. I work as a Furniture mover at Home Furniture Store.
- What are your favorite games to play? Destiny and any Final Fantasy
- What are your favorite games to stream? Destiny
- Do you have any games that you would like to recommend to my readers to play and why? Destiny lol And it’s a community game that if you network well you have a higher chance to succeed in. The community is very into helping streamers.
- Was it hard to talk to your viewers when you first became a streamer? How long before you became at ease with streaming? IT WAS FUCKING HARD TO TALK TO VIEWERS AT THE BEGINNING! lol it took me months to get at ease with viewers haha
- Would you like to tell my readers anything else about yourself or your channel on Twitch? I’m TripleG_tv and you can find me on twitch. I also have a twitter account @TriplG.
As he said he isn’t a streamer but he is still streaming on and off which is great. He is one of the first streamers that I had found on Twitch and followed. He’s a great guy and I think you would enjoy him whenever he does stream. So keep an eye out for him on his channel at twitch.tv/tripleg_tv or check out his Twitter @TripleG for updates of when he may get the urge to stream.
