Do you want more horror content, and especially when the streamer jumps and gets scared? Yes, those are the most fun streams in my opinion. I love watching the streamers get scared, and even better is when I get to be the one who scares them. But watching a streamer play a horror game and jump also makes me smile. So here is an amazing, fun, excitable streamer who is all about horror games, and even though it scares him, he will keep playing them for himself and for his community. I am really glad to have found him and so happy that he is a lover of all things horror like myself. I really enjoy getting to know him and his community that I can say I am proud to be a part of. Each stream I enter, I am ready for an entertaining time.
1. What is your Twitch name?
K1NGDRE4D
2. Is there a special reason you chose that name?
The name came to me randomly in my sleep. I woke from a deep sleep at 3am with the idea. No dream to conjure it up, it just came to me.
3. Why did you become a Twitch Streamer?
I became a streamer to build a community of awesome people who play horror games and with similar interest as mine. I also like to meet and gain new friendships from others. I just enjoy people’s company and getting to know them.
4. Why did you choose Twitch as your streaming platform?
Twitch seemed like a platform that was more guided towards a “game focused” audience, which is what I was looking for at the time. I also noticed the horror genre needed more focused streamers to create content, and I had ideas I saw no one in Twitch were doing yet.
5. How long have you been a streamer?
I have been streaming for about 7 months but took it seriously and found my image after 3 months in.
6. Do you only stream or do you have another job?
If you are comfortable in telling my readers, what is your other job? I stream part time and work as a Technical Solutions Analyst for a company by the name of Cerner in Kansas. I work as a more advanced support associate for clients I have in the medical field. We work to provide assistance with their applications and every day workflow if they need help to perform their job effectively.
7. What are your favorite games to play?
At the moment my favorite game to play is State of Decay 2. I have an unnatural addiction to this game offline lol I thought about streaming it but I get so absorbed in the game I would forget there are viewers and a chat going also lol.
8. What are your favorite games to stream?
I love streaming horror games. Specifically, games where the base of the story is about ghosts, folklore, or evil spirits. Seeing I am superstitious I believe in the paranormal and when I play these games, it brings a real fear rather than it only being the jump scares that gets me.
9. Do you have any games that you would like to recommend to my readers to play and why?
If you haven’t played Visage, Hide and Shriek or Lust From Beyond, I highly recommend them. Hide and Shriek is free on stream and a simple yet really fun game and viewers love it. Lust From Beyond has 2 demos out right now since the full game doesn’t release until February, but I would check both out. Be warned the content is pretty graphic and mature but a great experience if you love cult/Lovecraftian like horror.
10. Was it hard to talk to your viewers when you first became a streamer? How long before you became at ease with streaming?
Yes, very hard at first because I didn’t have a lot to say. Plus, having to multitask the stream, chat, and game was a challenge. After about a month of getting a feel for it and working on standard scripts, I could use to get the hang of speaking on camera to others it really helped. I would spend hours running through scripts in my head of things to say and how to get the stream flowing without silence. After a while I realized it was a lot of work to do it that way and just started being myself. Talking about what I wanted to talk about without a script or anything to read off of, and then it became second nature. Once I got comfortable with myself is when I got comfortable with the stream and viewers.
11. Would you like to tell my readers anything else about yourself or about your channel on Twitch?
My channel represents something more than just a gamer in front of a camera. I am here to provide you an experience unlike other streamers. I play games, but with a twist. I have a story and concept behind my content that can only be understood by experiencing it for yourself. There are things that occur with my stream sometimes I don’t even have an answer for. So, it is always something new for my viewers and myself so expect the unexpected.
12. What are the links for your Twitch and any other channel you would love my reader to know or follow?
He is an awesome streamer and guy who loves to stream and who will love to get to know you. Just come on into his stream one day and watch the fun unfold as he plays his games. Don’t be scared- join us. You won’t be disappointed at all, I am sure.
