My Story
The young YouTube gamer sat at his desk. He clicked away as he looked for a website to sell his merchandise. Brandon clicked link after link, but he couldn’t find a merchandise website he liked. Brandon looked at a few of his YouTuber friends who were also gamers and sold their own merchandise.
Brandon studied their websites and sighed heavily. He tapped a finger on his desk, until one caught his eye. He liked the look of the website and how easy it would be to get his merchandise online and ready for his fans to buy. He signed up for the website and scrolled through his own website. Brandon smiled when his website, tfg.clothing, went live. Brandon sat back in his chair, proud of what he had accomplished.
Brandon opened up his email, attached the link and emailed it to all of his family and friends so that they could save it. He asked them if the could spread it among their friends to help him get it out there more. After he admired his handy work, Brandon saved the website onto his computer and then onto his laptop, phone, and IPad. He decided to save it on his fiances laptop as well so that once she got home, she could see his handy work.
Brandon searched down Sam’s laptop and found it in their bedroom on her side of the bed. He sat down and picked it up, resting it on his lap. He opened it and opened Sam’s internet browser, quickly typing his website into the search bar.
Brandon saved i ton her home page of her laptop so that way he knew she would see it for sure since she knew what was on her home page by heart. She would see the link and click on it out of curiosity after asking Brandon what it was, of course. A thought popped in his head when he opened the internet browser again, his eyes staring at the search bar. What does Sam look up?
Brandon glanced around even though he knew he was alone and looked up her search history. He smiled at the first search which happened to be puppies. He understood why too since they had talked about possibly getting a golden doodle or golden retriever puppy in the near future.
He looked at the websites, seeing that she had been looking for places close by had either golden doodle or golden retriever puppies for sale or to adopt. Brandon went back to the search history and laughed when he saw the next thing that Sam had been searching was roosters.
Brandon was confused at first but then he remembered how Sam had talked about seeing baby chicks on someone’s Facebook page. She started to search roosters and the different breeds of chickens to see what the looked like all grown up. They had a conversation about the different breeds of chickens and how now she wanted to get a few to keep as pets. Brandon had told her that they couldn’t have chickens where they lived. Sam said then they should move somewhere else so she could have chickens. He grinned as he remembered that conversation.
The conversation had been three weeks ago but Sam still slips talking about chickens every now and again in their conversation to this day. He scanned the search history again and saw that Sam had searched candelabras. Sam had mentioned in passing that she had wanted to find some nice antique candelabras for over their fireplace. Brandon guessed from the search on her laptop that Sam had been serious about it.
Brandon decided he would start to look up some too and then get Sam’s opinion. Once she picked a favorite, he would buy them for her as a ‘just because I love you’ gift. He made a note on his phone to start searching antique candelabras after he finished recording a video for his channel. He might even ask his viewers for ideas of where to start looking.
He closed his phone and looked at the last thing Sam had searched. He eyes widen and his jaw dropped. Brandon clicked on WASP Injection knife, not sure what to expect with a name like that. He wasn’t too sure if he actually wanted to see what it was, but he forced himself to look.
“Wow,” he muttered when he saw the knife. The WASP Injection Knife Fixed 5.25″ Dead Blast Blade sat on the screen before his eyes.
Brandon just started, trying to remember if he and Sam had talked about the knife recently, but nothing came to mind. He deleted his searches he made so Sam wouldn’t know he had been poking around her search history and shut the laptop. Maybe Sam would tell hi why she had looked up such a deadly weapon in her own time.
Brandon set her laptop down on the bed and left the room. He pushed the knife to the back of his mind and headed back to his gaming room. He didn’t want to remember the weapon. Brandon picked a game to play, hit record, and recorded his video for the day.
By the time, Sam returned home from work that evening, Brandon had forgotten all about the knife. He gave her a quick kiss and told her how he finished recording his video and had started making dinner.
“Oh, Sam, can you grab our laptop and look something up for me , please? I had to charge mine.” Brandon grinned and returned to the kitchen where he was preparing their dinner.
“Yea, sure. Let me grab it.” Sam ran up the stairs to their room to retrieve her laptop. When she came back down, she set it on their dining room table and sat down. “Okay, what do you need me to look up?” She opened her laptop, logged in, and was about to open her internet browser when she spotted something new on her home page.
Brandon glanced up at her when he heard her make a strange noise but didn’t say anything. He went back to chopping up some tomatoes for their tacos and heard her click on the link.
Sam scrolled through the page and looked up at him. “Oh, Brandon, this is amazing. I love it!” She stopped on a few shirts that she liked and added them to her cart. She grabbed her purse and paid for them. “And bought!” She jumped out of her chair and walked over to Brandon. She kissed him and looked into his eyes. “I am so proud of you!”
“Ah, Sam, you didn’t have to do that,” Brandon said. He kissed her again and grabbed their plates. He carried them to the table while Sam grabbed their drinks.
They sat down and ate their dinner, while Sam gushed over Brandon’s new merchandise website. He laughed and blushed, then asked her to help him create some merchandise too. She smiled and nodded, telling him that she would love to and they went back to eating. They finished the night with snuggling on the couch and a movie while Roxie sat on Brandon’s lap, eyes closed, and purring.
