Storymatic Cards

Product Review

I am always searching for fun ways to create short stories for my blog page and have found several great prompt books. But I wanted something different so I went on a search on Amazon until I found something that caught my eye.

Cards!!

And not just any cards, cards with a really cool name for them- Storymatic. I clicked on the link and checked then out. I read the description which basically says that these cards can be a fun way to make art or to help write stories. You can even use them to play a game where you pick cards and tell a story to another person. Just something fun and different. Maybe something fun to do around a camp fire… just an idea.

Since, like I said, I am always on the look out for fun ways to create new stories for my blog, I decided to purchase these and see how it all works. It comes with a booklet that gives you instructions and several different ways to use the cards.

I played around with them for a little bit after Amazon delivered them, but haven’t written a story just yet for my blog using them. I will in the near future and, of course, I will take pictures of the cards I picked to add to the blog along with the story I come up with. I am looking forward to using these soon.

If you are a writer or someone who just wants to have a different kind of game to play with others and loves to make up stories in your head, or maybe you like to make art and words help you create, these cards might be what you are looking for. Here is the link to the Amazon page, if you would like to check them out more, and see if maybe you would like to buy them for yourself. Or maybe even buy them as a gift. I think these cards would make an amazing gift for someone in your life who is a writer, artist, or storyteller.
