Writing Exercise
After thinking about your favorite aroma, give it a personality by making it into a character.
Side Note
I didn’t use one of my characters I already have made. For this exercise, I made a new character. It just seemed right for me to create this new character. And to tell you the truth, I will save this character for a future book. What genre? Not sure yet. But I definitely will have her as a main character in a future book.
My Favorite Aroma
My favorite aroma is the sweet heavenly smells of the flower called plumerias.
My Writing
A young woman stands at the edge of a cliff with the wind blowing her long, soft dark copper brown hair over her shoulders. Her light hazel eyes stare at the sunset, watching the sky glow pinks, reds, yellows, and purples. The dying sunlight kisses her warm tan arms. She has her arms crossed over her chest as she sighs in the growing evening. She is wearing a soft pink short-sleeve shirt, dark blue jean shorts, light pink socks, and dark gray and pink hiking boots. Her name is Ailana. She is strong, a book nerd, and even owns her own bookstore. Ailana owns the apartment above the bookstore and loves living there with her sweet 6-year-old brown tabby named Fiona. She loves riding horses, history, camping, hiking, and stargazing. She is sweet, but can have a temper when pushed too far.
