A Compilation of Short Stories

This book has been out for a while and I should have made my announcement sooner, but I didn’t. I’m sorry about that.

A big shout out to Tammy Yosich, Zoe Grace Publishing LLC, who did an amazing job putting this together with her friend, Shelley Mascia.

Months ago, I saw on Facebook a call for short stories. Shelley posted about it on her Facebook page, Shelley’s Editing Service. It was actually a contest. The stories could be any genre as long as they weren’t over sexual, have adult language, and are clean, meaning not gory.

As most of you know, I am a lover of writing gory horror. But I put that on the back burner and decided to go with a scary fantasy short story. I didn’t know what I was going to write at first, but then it came to me.

An elf is sitting alone, just watching the world, enjoying its beauty when something strange happens. An Ancient Curse, my story in the anthology, is a fast-paced fantasy story that is waiting for you to read it.

I was picked to be a part of the anthology and then the months of getting each story edited and ready for publication began. Cover designs were voted on, more editing, and then it was ready.

And my story isn’t the only one. Not including myself, there are 24 other authors with amazing short stories ready to be read and appreciated.

It was published on August 27, 2023, and I couldn’t be any prouder to have been picked to be a part of this book. I am so happy that I am an author, an actual published author.

I hope to be a part of more anthologies and publish more books in the future. I will continue to publish my stories on my blog and continue my journey in writing.
