Twitch Streamer Series- Part 67

New Streamers, New Interviews

I am so happy that I can continue this series all about the amazing and hard working gamers who stream for us the viewers and for the love of the gaming or whatever else they stream. I have been hunting for new streamers to follow, watch, and to interview, and I am happy to say that I have found some new faces, new personalities, and some new amazing people. So sit back, relax, and let’s meet some new streamers.

This first streamer that I have met is a hoot to watch. He does voices and has a good time with his viewers and those he plays with in the games during the stream. He always can make me smile and make me feel better, even after having a bad day. So without further ado, allow me to introduce you to JordanKGames.

1. What is your Twitch name?

2. Is there a special reason you chose that name?

My name is Jordan Kuiper, and no one could pronounce my last name. So JordanK seemed fitting and then since twitch is a site for more gaming, I added that.

3. Why did you become a Twitch streamer?

I was playing Minecraft with a friend and he said, “We should stream this so people can watch us play” and I had never heard of twitch before that. I thought it was the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of, but I quickly fell in love.

4. Why did you choose to stream on Twitch and not another streaming platform?

Back when I started, Twitch was the only live streaming platform. No one else had dipped into that market yet.

5. How long have you been a streamer?

I started back in early 2014 on an old account, but then took a long break. Started consistently in June of 2017.

6. Do you only stream or do you have another job? If you are comfortable in telling my readers, what is your other job?

I do armed security work when needed, but the mix of summer being over and the lockdowns no one is having concerts or events that need security work. Right now it’s only Twitch.

7. What are your favorite games to play?

My all-time favorite game is Skyrim, but that isn’t really the best for the stream.

8. What are your favorite games to stream?

My favorite games for Twitch are Minecraft, Sea of Thieves, and then when a new Forza Horizon game comes out, those are always fun as well. Flight Simulator is another fun game, but that turns into a just chatting stream quick because auto pilot takes over and then I have nothing to do.

9. Do you have any games you would recommend my readers to play, and why?

Skyrim, Minecraft, and Sea of Thieves. All 3 games are totally open world, you can do whatever you want, and no play-through is ever the same. I love when games let you explore and don’t try to force you down a set path.

10. Was it hard to talk to your viewers when you first became a streamer? How long before you became at ease with streaming?

I’ve always been a very talkative person, so it was never too hard, but it definitely took some getting used to knowing that there are people on the other side of that camera watching you play. I had to learn to talk to a camera while responding to a text chat. It came to me pretty naturally, but I have also noticed I’ve gotten a lot better over time.

11. Would you like to tell my readers anything else about yourself or about your Twitch channel?

It’s a family friendly environment where everyone seems to get along. I honestly love getting to hang out with everyone there. I try to make it more of a conversation with gameplay in the background.

12. What are the links for your Twitch channel and any other channel you would love my readers to know or follow?

I have added the last link as it is to Jordan’s merchandise, which I am happy to say that I have bought from twice now. I have a Hoodie that is so soft and comfortable and I don’t even care that it is considered for Christmas, I still wear it out. Hopefully, he will make another “Ugly” Christmas hoodie again this year because I will definitely buy one. I am now waiting for a cute shirt with a pink heart and his name on the sleeve. The heart is what he uses as an emoji in stream when you are a subscriber which if you have Amazon Prime. You can subscribe to him or any Streamer for free with using your Prime.

I hope you take the time to join JordanKGames and myself in his stream sometimes and chat with us, enjoying his stream and chat, as well as his company. Like I said, if you are feeling down, this guy definitely will help lift your spirits.
